Sliding Closet Door Closing Guide

Sliding Closet Door Closing Guide

thingiverse

I had a sliding closet door that I always needed to fiddle with to get it to close properly, since it would run into the frame. I made this little thingamajig to stick onto the frame so I wouldn't spend so much time closing it neatly. I'm sure there's many other uses, too, but that's what I use it for. For best results, close your closet door and find the spot where it makes contact with the doorframe. With either double-sided tape (recommended) or a nail, stick the guide to the edge of the doorframe that juts out, as pictured, with the steeper, rounded side towards the door. Try to make the edges flush with each other, leaning towards the guide flowing over if it's unavoidable.
