Sliding Holder for First Generation iPad Tablet

Put that old first generation iPad back to work holding recipes in your kitchen! This sliding iPad holder displays your recipes right where you want them and tucks away nicely when not in use. Print two straight tracks and one each of the curved tracks. Assemble and mount. For the holder, just print the top and bottom. The files for the sides and for the complete holder are included if needed) The size of the cabinet that you are mounting in needs to be the right height to allow the knobs of the holder to fit securely in the tracks but not fall out. Be sure to space the back of the track far enough from the wall to prevent the charging cord from getting damaged. We've used a cork as a spacer. A bit of Vaseline on the tracks keeps everything sliding smoothly. The holder was designed specifically to fit the first generation iPad, but it may fit other models as well.
