A lock to suit Traditional Sliding Screen doors (5 parts). This lock is designed to suit a screen door 15.5mm thick. Unlike locks that I was able to find commercially this lock will allow you lock/unlock the door from both inside and out. Instructions Print one each of the five parts. All parts can be printed without support you will just need to rotate/position them accordingly. Print Settings of current Test Lock: Layer Height:- 2.0 Infill:- 20% You will need to drill 3 holes through the door, 1 8mm centre hole for the shaft and two 6mm holes for the rods that connect the two handle parts. You may need to do a light sand to the square end of the shaft to fit into the lock part as it meant to be a snug fit. The shaft is slightly shorter then required so that you can tighten the lock up firm as the lock works on friction to work properly. I have uploaded the stl files but if requested I can upload the files in a different format, what ever Creo 2 permits. slidingdoorlock_combined.stl provided for viewing combined lock NOT FOR PRINTING
