Slightly Modified Speed Boat 3

A speed boat 3 with a new motor mount design. This mount holds a 1806 brushless motor running a 5" propeller and allows the deck to be removed without first removing the motor mount and the rudder to be mounted on the center line. The bolt pattern for this motor is 2mm dia holes on a 16mm square. The boat is running a EMAX PM1806 motor on 3S with a 1000mah battery and a 5030 propeller. Total weight is about 400g. With the transmitter set up for 30 deg of throw each way in the rudder, it's a well behaved boat that's easy to drive. Nice work Wersy! Boat was printed in ABS. Post-Printing My test run revealed durability issues with the front portion of the spiral printed hull my printer made. A thin coat of acetone/ABS mix and a couple coats of paint helped greatly. I also reduced the height of the rudder by approximately 15mm.
