This holder is designed to use with this cover:http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1939038 The car holder is designed not to touch the phone, so it only wears the cover. Drill and screw the bottom part to your dash mount. I use ProClip ones in my cars: http://www.proclipusa.com/dashboard-mounts/car-dash-mounts.aspx Put the spring in place (if the spring doesn't slide nicely in the bottom part, sand the edges just a little) Slide the cover on with the sping (you can add a drop of super glow to the sliding edge to make it more rigid) Then just push the phone in place. You can go straight, or you can put one side first and then turn it in place. You can remove it by just pulling it, or you can turn it one egde first, or you can release the spring to make it come easier.
