TODO:

design wall mounted bases

Design some sort of “top” so that the top of the shelf doesnt look unfinished

More custom shelves for your unique cases!

About - This is my first time designing something useful and modular! Please give me feedback on what needs to be improved

Disclaimer!!! - This is my first model!!!!^^^ I suck at this!! The tolerences might not be perfect and please tell me where i could improve it! You may have trouble getting the rods into the base or the shelves onto the rods when their in the base.

How to use - This model comes in many parts, I'll go over everything you need

Spacers

There are two types of spacers, the vertical and horizontal ones.

Vertical spacers - Scale these vertically to be however tall you need it, These slide between each shelf on the same Column to space them apart.

Horizontal spacers - Scale these vertically to be however tall you need it. I recommend scaling to however tall the vertical spacers + shelves add up to be so its just one spacer :> There are currently 3 sizes/distances. Small is around 35mm, Medium is around 45mm, Large is around 60mm

These spacers are used with their corresponding bases as a extra Column with x size distance between the shelves (charging cables/straps will have room to sit here xD)

There are multiple heights for the spacers make sure you stay consistent with the height you choose. I've also realized after modeling every single one of them that you could just vertically scale them to be whatever height you want in the slicer .-. so do that too. Stay consistent with heights - or don't doesn't matter :> if it works it works

Bases

Obviously you cant have them sit on nothing and stand properly.

Print one base for every size of spacer you make. Example : If you print a small horizontal spacer Print 1 small base for it.

You should have at least two Main spacers (for the trackers) and at least one Small, Medium, or Large base. ( to space em apart)

Shelves!

Each shelf has its own individual folder for the Main and Extension trackers. The size i chose for these were an average of the public cases I could find and an estimate on possible tracker sizes.

Print 1 for every Main / Extension tracker you have

For each shelf you will also need a Wall mount shelf for each (pls help me find a better name lol)

DM me on Discord if you have a custom shelf for your specific case. Pixel#6554

This model uses the "Parametric Bobblehead Springs" by 3D Printy

Vertical Alignment Rod

This is the main component that everything will slide into. I hope i dont need to explain how to use this :>

You just slide all your parts together with it easy as that.

After all the shelves are mounted you can slide them onto the bases, or you can slide them onto the bases first then put the shelves on.

Center attachment Piece

If you look at the base, there are little grooves on there.
This attachment piece fits perfectly there!

It was my solution to my modeling being bad and the lazy route to the shelves not being straight - It works and it looks fine :> win win

You need one for every Two base pieces

Print settings

Id say my 3d printing knowledge is quite small :c but 0.2mm layer height is safe for everything.
I printed everything at 0.3mm and it seemed to be perfectly fine so do that if you want :>

I used a 0.6mm nozzle… but 0.4mm shouldn't be a problem.

Everything is meant to print without supports!!!
The Vertical alignment rod might need a brim for bed adhesion but it should be alright as its now oriented diagonally.

Print orientation

All of the spacers are vertical for scaling convenience. Please orient them to lay on the side thats completely flat afterward. You could print them vertical (im not stopping u soo~) but the edges might be rounded and might not slide smoothly along the parts

Important tips

You can print a single horizontal spacer that's as tall as whatever height the vertical + Shelves are. Example : Each shelf is 25mm and you would need 2 shelves. At least a 20mm spacer at the bottom and top + maybe 60mm spacer in between the shelves. Total height would be 150mm so print a 150mm tall horizontal spacer.

Make sure the vertical rods that everything slides to is 18mm taller than the total height of spacers + shelves (in example it would be 168mm

Top lids will be made soon so the top of the shelves don't look ugly!

Print one Base for each size of spacer you choose to use (otherwise how else will it fit :/

Printing the spring is optional if you think its too much of a hassle… you will just have normal shelves xD

The Base alignment things aren't required but they look cool and fill the gap :p they also were made to keep the shelves straight.

The shelves were made to slide smooth/loosely, because of this the extension shelf needs these little fillers to not move around make sure to print two! one on each side.

I suggest printing the Long versions of the base because front heavy >.<

I might have forgotten something here… my brain is dumb but- Have fun!

Please like my model if it helped you organize your trackers :> thanks~
