Slytherin house badge. This was cut from 3mm hardwood plywood. I covered the cut area with masking tape and sprayed the dark areas with black spray paint after the etch/cut. Good quality masking tape is important if you are doing this as there is quite a bit of fine detail. The background on this one is a small batch of resin with a large ratio of green glitter. Back the cut out with clear packing tape very carefully pour in the glitter resin. Once this is cured I CA glued on the top layer, just enough to hold it in place for now. Then poured a generous portion of resin over the top of the whole lot. Once resin was cured hard I removed the backing tape and used some 5-minute epoxy to add a brooch pin and a bit of silver foil behind the clear part (this isn't really necessary as I can't really even see it)
