I fly the HD Version of APEX with analog gear. Why? The HD frame has more room for things than the analog version of the frame. Plus future proofing as I plan to eventually switch to digital. So I modified the analog accessories to work with the HD frame. EDIT: the original SMA mount is a bit "flimsy" so added a new one that is slightly heavier but much more sturdier, print this one up side down, no supports needed :)
