<p>This is designed for the cages we have, but it may fit your cage as well!</p> <p>The cup part goes inside the cage and the hopper goes outside for easy feeding without having to open the cage.</p> <p>The cup is a little bit taller than the gaps in the bars so you snap it together in place, there is a gap at the top/back of the cup and the hopper where one of the horizontal cage wires goes, this locks the bottom in place so it can't slide away. I don't think there is much danger in plastic getting into dry food like this, but natural color PLA is food safe just in case. It is also semi translucent so you can tell the food level if there is some back light.</p> <p>I printed the back/hopper with the opening down so the only overhang was at the very top of the print (which has a fairly large bridge, but I made 4 of these, all successful). I used this orientation largely because space is limited on my Lulzbot Mini. In this orientation I would suggest you use brim to make sure it stays down, it is a tall print.</p> <p>The cup is printed in it's natural orientation, there is no overhangs at all on this part and a very large footprint so no raft or brim needed.</p> <h3>How I Designed This</h3> <p>Designed in 123d design (free CAD software)</p> </p></p> Category: Pets
