Small hole EDM

The idea to built this started with a very precise, small x-y-theta table by Leitz. The original optical readout was missing and I've installed simple scales.The base is cast out of epoxy-granite, the drive, the drill support, the column, etc were built mostly from stuff laying around in the shop. The filter housing (accepting standard EDM filters) is welded using stainless pipe. The pot is stainless cooking pot with thick aluminum plate to support the work, The plate was levelled with set screws and then epoxy cast to the pot (this prevents the water to get under it).Right now I have only 300psi pump, but 1000psi will be installed. The EDM power supply is 80V 5A DC and equipped with variable frequency and variable duty oscillator. The servo is using a small DC motor.Limit switches not installed yet.
