My simple DRO variant for small lathe tailstock using cheap chinese caliper. BOM: caliper like this: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/150mm-6-Plastic-Dial-Caliper-high-quality/473639151.html 1x screw M3 x 30 mm 1x screw M3 x 20 mm 2x nut M3 1x pad M3 (large) Caliper parts should be adjusted according to the image (cutting off unnecessary parts, drilling hole). Main part is glued to the tailstock with superglue (Loctite Super Attak Power Flex Gel). Likewise to this part is then glued caliper fixed body. Fixing plastic part to the tailstock ram is with screw only (Attention! Test how much space you can take with this part. It could happen that you can not take out a shorter morse taper). Print Settings Printer: Molestock Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: layer 0.2 mm (nozzle 0.4) Infill: 80% octagonal Notes: Printed from PLA with 80% octagonal infill.
