Small lathe main spindle

This lathe spindle is designed to work in small lathes i.e. gang tool lathes. Main idea was to use it with bar stock, max. 25mm (1inch) in diameter, using 5c collets to hold a part. Clamping action is done by hydraulic/pneumatic cyllinder with buffer and pressure reducer to match proper holding force. Pulling rod is not equipped with clamping spring, so calibrated pressure sensor have to be connected to fluid system to prevent loss of pressure. All pressure parts are omitted.Model is simplified version without lubrication system and with straightforward sealing.Collet could be operated manually by modifying pulling rod (using nut) or lever collet closer could be added.Spindle is capable of using front-mounted, manually operated, 100mm lathe chuck (DIN6350) instead of collets.Spindle could be equipped with encoder to feedback rpm.
