Small Parts Vise Jaws for Modelmakers

A set of insert vise jaws to help hold small, awkward parts like thin rods, ball joints, and triangular or otherwise non-square parts. geared toward scale modelling and other small delicate work. These take advantage of the idea that by increasing the surface contact area between the jaws and part, you can hold the part firmly without excessive clamping force. there is a little bit of leeway built into the jaws, so the part doesn't have to be the exact size and the cutout in the jaw, only roughly close. I based the dimensions around my Panavise Model 201, but they should work in any vise that has horizontal, 120° v-groves for the inserts to key into. it would be easy enough to make the vise-side flat, and I may upload an alternate set in the future. Jaws included in this set: -Blank jaws for remixing to suit your own workholding needs -Round cut jaws for holding rods and hollow tubes, with grooves for 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, and 3.5mm diameter rounds. -Angle cut jaws for holding triangular (if paired with a blank jaw) or rhomboid (if paired with another angle jaw) parts with grooves at 90°, 120°, and 60°. -Jaws with ball-joint shaped cuts for holding (you guessed it!) parts with ball-joints.They have indents for 3, 4, and 6mm diameter balls. these measurements were taken straight from gunpla kits in various scales.
