Directly connect your 6 Gallon, 2.5 HP (small) Shop Vac to the DeWalt DW718 Double Bevel Sliding Miter Saw. Remove hose end from standard Shop Vac hose, and push flex hose over this adaptor and slide over miter saw connection. I like to coat the outside of my adaptors in epoxy before use to make them stronger.
