Small Stellated Dodecahedron as Ornament

Here is a small stellated dodecahedron with a hole in one pyramid that serves as a point for hanging. Two related polyhedra are also included. The method of construction replaces each face of a dodecahedron with scaleable pentagonal pyramids. The right choice of scale factor gives a small stellated dodecahedron. Another known polyhedron, the Catalan solid called the pentakis dodecahedron, can also be constructed. The two additional polyhedra included here are composed of 60 approximately equilateral triangles, one a stellated form, the other an indented form. See the openSCAD code. Instructions A raft and external support is required when printing the stl files. A scad file which animates the change between the forms is included.
