NOTE: I completely remade the robot, and reuploaded under a new name. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2945089 ________________________________________________________ This is just a small robot chassis, and I decided to upload it in case someone else wanted a small robot platform to use for a project. It is very simple to print, however you NEED a flexible filament for the treads. I used 95A shore hardness TPU, and it works great. If you want the motor clips to work as intended, print the chassis in PETG or something similarly flexible. There isn't a cover for the robot, as it largely depends on what the project calls for. There is a small indent in the front of the compartment as well as two holes in the back which will allow you to create a snap on lid or whatever else is needed. For fastening the wheels, use anything that fits snug in the chassis. The wheel hole has a larger diameter so there won't be any friction. In my case, I used a piece of ~3mm copper fencing wire I found, but something more elegant would work a lot better. These are the motors I used (they clip in and are held in place): (600rpm - good mix of speed and torque) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/DC-12V-600RPM-Micro-Speed-Reduction-Gear-Motor-Metal-Gearbox-Wheel-Shaft/32674463757.html (2000rpm - ridiculously fast. Might not be able to catch your robot...) https://www.aliexpress.com/item/New-DC12V-2000RPM-N20-Micro-Speed-Reduction-Gear-DC-Motor-with-Metal-Gearbox-Wheel/32796653338.html For the battery, I used a 450mAh 3s lipo, but anything that fits in the compartment will work. Again, use it however you need.
