A smaller bead to end paracord work. The original is a bit heavy for some uses as it was modeled after a bead that was meant to function as a split ring holder for keys. Pull the two strands through the smaller hole at one end, melt the ends making them as wide as possible, and pull the melted ends into the bead. Watch fob bead printed in gold colored steel.
