Here is SMARS, a simple but clever small modular robot. I designed it to offer to beginners and robotics enthusiasts, a cheap and easy solution to start programming and learn how to design pieces in CAD. SMARS is optimized for 3D printing, it needs only few support structures and doesn't require any screw to be assembled. My objective was to keep it as light and cheap as possible to give the opportunity  to everyone to learn  robotics and STEM thematics. With a 3D printer and a few other components, you are able to build enoght smars for a class in a few weeks and at a low price. There is no adhoc electronics, so you can find all the components almost everywhere. I started the SMARS Project because as a child I would have loved to have something similar for learn and gain skills but 15 years ago robotics was not as accessible as today so I never had my personal robot.
