Smart Compact Temperature Tower Customizer

Smart Compact Temperature Tower Customizer

thingiverse

Customizer/OpenSCAD generated 3D printer temperature calibration tower. **Use the customizer to create a tower with a set of temperature values you desire!** This is a remix of "Smart Compact Temperature Calibration Tower" by gaaZolee and is akin to the "Parameterized Smart compact temperature calibration tower" by petolone. This is wholly coded in OpenSCAD with no external/include files. The code produces an OpenSCAD facsimile of the individual block component shape from gaaZolee's Smart Compact Temperature Calibration Tower and has additional code for creating a customized tower from user input using the Customizer feature of OpenSCAD or Thingiverse. The shape is not an identical copy of gaaZolee's (it is difficult to create organic shapes in OpenSCAD), but should be functionally equivalent. Of course this will only create a 3D object marked with specific temperatures and is unable to generate the actual printer code to set/change temperatures. It is up to the user to generate/modify the actual temperature settings through their slicer or by editing the slicer generated printer code. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this I refer you to the original postings or the many helpful YouTube postings that can be found. An example STL file of a small test I'm using to check some PETG filament is included in the things files just to provide an example of the produced STL. NOTE: Occasionally with taller towers I have encountered an "errors occurred in model" message from my slicer. I have not yet had any problems from "ignoring" the error, but I am looking into isolating and eliminating the problem.
