Smart filament sensor

Compact, simple, cheap, smart filament sensor capable of detecting jammed filament, nozzle clogs and no filament Designed to use minimal hardware and to fit on top of the Ender 3 y axis motor pulley box. Don't print with supports. A drop of hot glue in hole in the inside of the lid diffuses the light well. there are 2 options - No hardware(minimal) or hardware The hardware version is tested and works well but requires: 1 x optical sensor 1 x m3 x 6mm machine screw for holding the optical sensor down 1 x m3 x 20mm machine screw for the spring assembly 1 x spring (4mm diameter, 4-5mm long) 2 x 1mm diameter screws about 5-10mm long - locks the bowden tube in place. filament is used a an axle with a off-cut of bowden tubing as the axle sleeve. the no hardware version requires superglue to hold the optical switch in place. I use this with Octoprint and a plugin "Smart filament sensor". there is an option in marlin for such a sensor but i haven't managed to get it to work that way, if you do, let me know NB.! a layer of nail polish on the filament gripping wheel helps it grip much better ps. a tip would be great (-^,)
