SmartAlu belt grips

The belt grips that are used on the SmartAlu to attach the four GT2 belt ends to the X-carriage appeared to be a little bit loose on mine, which resulted on loosing a tooth or two sometimes, and ultimately having one end of the belt actually detached. You can imagine the effect on the printing… ;) So I remade them, making sure they would be tight enough, and with a few more teeth than the original, to hold the belt ends safely, but not too much of course, to make sure it would still be easy to insert the belt. This is quite easy and fast to print and replace. I'd suggest you print it slowly and with a good resolution (at least 0.2mm layer height) to make sure the shape of the pieces is accurate, and therefore efficient. :)
