One day I was lounging on my sister's couch, feeling lazy and wanting to watch some videos on my smartphone without having to hold it. That's when I decided to create this project that would change everything. I chose to use FreeCAD for the 3D sketches because of its ease of use and flexibility. Next, I used Cura software to generate the G-code that would bring my design to life. My printer of choice was the Prusa I3, a reliable and precise machine that could handle even the most complex designs. And since I wanted to create something durable and long-lasting, I opted for PLA material. To assemble this project, you'll need an M3 screw that's 1 cm in length, two springs with 2 cm of length, and a diameter between 4 to 5 cm. Make sure to have these parts ready before starting the assembly process. Please note that this design may not work for all types of mobile phones. I've personally tested it on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S7, as well as many Huawei models, with great success. However, if your smartphone has very rounded sides, it's likely that this design won't be compatible. On the other hand, if your phone has a flat back, it's definitely worth giving it a try. Who knows, you might just be able to create something amazing!
