SmartLCD Case with SD Slot

This display features a 6-7mm knob post and built-in chirp speaker, along with an SD card slot situated on the left side. The SmartLCD is often included in RAMPS kits, like the one from Gadgets3D where I obtained mine as part of their full RAMPS 1.4 kit. To securely fasten it within the case, you can use two optional 3mm screws or simply fit the LCD into the upper section first before adding the lower part since they interlock seamlessly. I printed my case in natural PLA and experienced satisfactory results. However, I needed to file down the rear posts slightly for a proper fit, so future revisions might involve adjusting those verticals. Numerous attractive knobs are available on Thingiverse or you can use the one supplied with your SmartLCD. I chose the DeltaPanel design by scottmayson. The smartlcd.scad file is a personal measurement, and on my device, the speaker was installed at the rear. This configuration option exists within the scad file itself.
