Mount a smartphone to the vents in your car ... this one fits my HTC 8X. I designed this mount in Onshape CAD with parametric dimensions, so it can be modified to fit other phones. For now, added a couple rubber bands to grip the phone and keep it from rattling around. Could also add a rubber pad to the back of the mount. The 4-pronged holder fit well on the air vents in the car. It gripped the phone securely to the 2 mm-thick vanes on the vent, even when driving over bumpy roads. How I Designed This The 4-prong holder on the back was based on the design of the Kenu Airframe mount. The dimensions of the side and bottom tabs were sized to hold my HTC 8X Windows Phone. A standard micro USB cable can fit into the bottom of the phone through the cutout in the bottom tab. I designed the mount in Onshape CAD. Access the public files here.
