This is designed to block external lighting when using a smart phone as an external field monitor via Wi-Fi. The hood reduces glare and ensures a clear, bright screen when shooting outdoors or in bright lighting. This monitor hood is designed for iPhone 6, 7, 8 and Plus, with the addition of a separate file designed to shoot directly using the smartphone rear camera. It is designed to use a commercially available smartphone holder (tripod adapter) to secure the smartphone, and requires a 1/4 inch screw to fix it, and a mini magic arm is used together to increase utilization. Added 1/4 inch screw holes on the side to attach additional accessories (handle, microphone, etc.)
