This is a work in progress. Please take a look at the original for some detailed info. What I did here was modify some of the larger pieces to fit on a smaller build plate. The pieces modified have the 3DBenchy title removed from the file name, and are all hooked together with dovetail pieces. The phone holder is not cut down as it prints on a diagonal fairly well and I was worried about how they'd fit together. issues and notes: The pieces that have been split are snug and may require some light hammer taps to slide together. If you can avoid a brim, that would be best. There is a known height issue with the male/female main pieces, it's negligable to me, but if requested I'll try and fix it up. -The modular rail is completely optional! I did it so I could more distance from a model and thus a larger photo area. The Male piece on the rear has two versions; one is the basic version from the original 3d Benchy, the other is an "Extended Height" piece. For my phone it was worthwhile to go higher and had a larger bigger camera hump. I personally recommend this one for more photo options, but the phone holder arm may not be enough. If I can revise the arm, I'll update later on. Other than those notes, everything else is a bout the same as the original benchy smartphone studio! Print Settings Printer: MP Select Mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.15 Infill: 15 Notes: Support's only really needed for the phone holding bar and the turntable holder. I'd suggest no brim for the parts that have been cut with a dovetail, otherwise you'll have more than expected cleanup. Post-Printing Double check the dovetails and shave down the edges as needed for fit. Also, if possible, double check heights and connection pieces, some may need shaving. How I Designed This Umm, all work is credit to the original photo studio by 3D Benchy. I merely cut down a few pieces for my printer and modified the phone holder so I could take taller model pictures.
