Vacuum cleaner connector system - without the hastle ============================================ This is a **vacuum cleaner connector system**, I designed for my workshop. I use it professionally and tested it for reliance, ease of use, and ease of application. I came to dislike the connectors on the market, since they either hinder air flow, catch debris inside the hose, or they have to be cut to size ... which leaves you to buy another one, if you change something. With this system you can connect household vacuum tools and hoses to **KÄRCHER®, BOSCH®, ShopVac®** or other (smaller diameter) vacuum cleaners (may fit Festool® hoses, too - but I'm not rich enough to know that for sure). The standard connector fits into the bigger KÄRCHER hose and into the 32 mm diametre hose of the household vacuum cleaner without changes. With the Y-connector, you can connect two machines/hoses to one vacuum cleaner, and just leave it in there, since you can plug one opening (that you may not need in that moment) with the given end plug. I tested it with dust (metal, wood, stone), chips (wood), and even bigger (less easy to vacuum) debris like wood bark - if it fits through the first hose in line, it should fit through the entire system. If not, you can easily disconnect the connectors and clean, what has to be cleaned (but that was rarely happening to me). Please remember: * The longer the hose becomes, the more power is needed for air and debris to be sucked through that hose (--> limitations by vacuum cleaner power). * If you split the air flow with the Y-connector, the power of suction will be devided to each hose, too (if the end plug isn't used). I marked this thing a "work in progress", because I will upload/update any edited or new parts for the system here. I hope this system helps you in your workshop endeavours, just like it helps me. It became a complete no brainer, and I will never switch back to bought connectors.
