Added step and iges files for those who want to modify. Update: Added lid - it's rough, but it will give you some protection if desired Increased base thickness by 1.5mm so that hardware is flush with box. Added 1 more 40mm fan mount on side, slot for ethernet, and made the microsd more easily accessible. It has a LOT of airflow with the 3 fans. With the heatsinks, it stays very cool, even when running at 2.5a (which I know is slightly over spec) Original: Got my smoothieboard last week and it needs a case. Work in progress, but the first revision came out well. Mounting slots for 2 40mm fans, and m3 nuts in the bottom for the standoffs. I used 9.5mm brass with paper washers. Haven't worked on the lid yet - but that will have the appropriate slots for the power, steppers, thermistors, and endstops Input/suggestions welcome. I got my Rostock Max printing on my Smoothie last night and it's awesome! Instructions I printed in ABS. I attached 2 files - 1 with rabbit ears on the corners to help with warp - and 1 without. The ears are .20mm tall, so set your first layer to .2mm, and they'll come right off without a trace. MatterControl (MatterSlice) - support everywhere. If your machine can bridge decently, you shouldn't need any support if you don't mind a little cleanup.
