It is around $55 instead of $92 on amazon or $120 at Bestbuy for the samsung version. It does not have ethernet, but that can be had with a usb to ethernet adapter if you need it. The Samsung Dex Dock also has a limitation when using a case, but this one is smaller overall and with this extender, you can use it with your phone case on. At leasat a somewhat thin case. i am using a Spigen air case with mine. This will also give support to the backside of the phone so that there is no damage to the usb port on your device.
