Isn't it annoying when a small thing renders the whole stuff unusable? Unfortunately it seems like the Chinese textile industry relies on this to increase profits. But as a user I really hate to dump the good stuff just because a small part is broken.

So here is an another buckle-pouch business to fix actually the very same pouch, the previous project was, but different part. Also I had an another pouch from the past which apparently has the very same fault with the very same buckle design, so I can also resurrect that one.

I printed the part out of nylon (PA12), for it's durability and flexibility. Luckily the design is not relying too much on layer adhesion so PETG or PP may work as well both being quiet flexible, however I did not tested them.

I added some support under the thinned arms, because of the poor bridging of the nylon, but it may work without it too.

It is made of two parts, so it can be assembled on the looped belt without any sawing. For the assembly a 40 mm long M3 Alan key headed screw and an M3 nut is necessary. So just cut off the broken plastic part keeping the belt in tact and assemble the replacement on it.

The project still designed with OpenScad, however I find that one a bit silly, but still this is what I used to. Some of the .svg outlines are created from photos with Inkscape. All necessary files are included for any modification.
