The Monoprice Mini Delta IIIP is a great little printer at a very reasonable price, but have you ever had a spaghetti-fied print drop lots of debris into the belt drive spaces and get wrapped into the belt drive gears? I have and it wasn't pretty. Sure, it's great to solve the spaghetti-fication problem, but things just happen when you least expect. I started looking for available add-ons to protect against this design flaw and wasn't satisfied with the inelegant solutions I found, so I decided to design my own and I'm glad I did. All the other options I found were simply too much work, with too many parts involved. Mine are simple, can be printed on the Monoprice Mini Delta on which they will be installed and simply snap into place without screws or hardware. They fit tightly and need to be pressed and flexed to get them past the lips of the channels, but once they're in place, they aren't going anywhere. The print height is as high as I could go with my IIIP, without causing problems in the printing or interfering with the print head transport mechanism once installed, but they're high enough to prevent most of the stringiness and crumbs from entering into the belt areas. They are so unobtrusive that you almost don't notice they're in place, but they should keep your belts clean, happy and healthy for a long time. I printed with brims, rather than a raft, since that works great and adheres nicely to my borosilicate glass build plate, without spreading past the printable boundary.
