Snapmaker 2.0 A350 Drink Bottle Roller for Lasering Round Things

Hi, I 'cribbed' this from files I downloaded and printed that did not seem to fit the A350... so re drew it with Microsoft 3D Builder and printed it on our Prusa Mk3 2.5. Both parts printed very nicely on normal pla settings. No rafts, no support, no hassle. : ) I have made the holes in the Snap Roller Mount purposefully large to allow easier alignment of the screws with the longitudinal axis. You need to use the countersunk A350 screws as the longitudinal axis units are recessed in a rebate so the cap headed ones don't fit. I have made the skate board bearing mounts slightly too large, so just scrape them a bit with a flat blade and they will fit nice and snuggly. I have found that maybe you need to lift the snap roller mount a touch by putting a 1mm or 2mm 'something' (card board, heart shaped piece of wood, whatever you have to hand) under the upright at the 90 degree bend, which makes the bearings roll a bit better. I put a strip of masking tape down the bed, under the bearings and wrapped the bearings with a strip of masking tape, to help with 'traction'. (I did not try lazering without, so it may not be needed.) Use :- I have only used it manually setting the laser head and start point and boundary. Make sure to set 1 Pass only, or you may find a double image after the bottle moves when the carriage resets... Ask me how I know this.... 75% easily burns through paint on a metal drink bottle. I might get the tpu out and make some tyres for the bearings and will post them up here if I do. Again, all in the name of traction on the bed and bottle.
