well, the first design flopped. I didn´t take the bed being fully extended in Y direction towards the back. As soon as the bed went all the way to the back then forward, the cable got caught under the piece that was to protect it. Sigh.... On a positive note, I have been using it as a cell phone stand beside my computer :-P I have modified the thing so it now extends far enough back that the cable will not caught. Have not printed it yet and will post a picture when I do. For those that want to play with it themselves, I have also attached the starting place for things to be attached to the end of the Snapmaker rails so the screw holes match. In the mean time, the initial one makes for a great tilted desktop cellphone holder. ########### Watching how the cable from the controller to the heated bed kept sweeping behind one of the right hand (facing machine) Y axis rails, I expected it to one day get stuck should the bed to all the way back then forward. This is a simple wedge that has screw holes (M4x8 button head screws) to attach to the back of the rail. There are fancy ones out there with the snake like tube and a fixed area on the end of the heated bed to keep things in place. I may print one of them one day but for now, this will work as I print other things for the family.
