For all Snapmaker 2 users who encounter issues with plastic nut wear on their linear guides, there's an innovative solution: combining the milling program with the clamping device to machine freely available brass trapezoidal nuts TR8x8 featuring anti-backlash technology. This enables these custom-made nuts to be seamlessly integrated into the Snapmaker 2. The milling program has been specifically designed for use with the original Snapmaker Ball End Mill and the clamping device. To ensure precise operation, the Work Origin is set in the middle of the flange's flat side. When using the X-direction, securely fix the clamping device to the middle of the bed. With the Easyprint version, users can print the clamping device without requiring a support structure. After printing, simply trim the edge with a knife for a smooth finish.
