SnapMaker Enclosure Hose Connector

The Snapmaker enclosure provides a fan, fitting, and hose to pull fumes and smoke from the enclosure. There was no fitting provided to attach the other end of the hose. Of course, there is no USA standard woodworking dust collector fitting that will fit this hose. This fitting duplicates the one provided with the addition of an 'anti-critter' screen. I will likely sandwich a piece of screened mesh to the outside for summer to keep bugs out. This fitting is designed to be screwed onto a board fitted into a window. Will need to add: a 3.5" hose clamp or zip tie, Four screws. Optional: two handle from any hardware store. I used a plastic trim board 6" wide and added two handles to make insertion and removal easier. After several weeks of use, the design is working great. I prefer the remove the insert from the window when not in use. The handles make this easier.
