SNES DPad for 3d printing v3

This is a FreeCAD modelled DPad based on an Original SNES controller. I used a jeweller's lens and micrometer to measure the dimensions of the DPad to model it from. The main difference between this model and any others you may find is that this is modelled specifically for 3d printing. As such, it's designed without the center ball in the bottom that it pivots on. The center ball in the original SNES DPad is part of the plastic and is 5.85mm in diameter. As I cannot easily get a hold of that size of ball, I've ordered some 6mm diameter balls, and the cutout in the bottom of this model is resized to fit that. Inserting the ball will likely take some force - I recommend a C-Clamp with soft faces to give you the leverage necessary to get it inserted. I've printed this at .04mm. For a general print don't print it at thicker layers than .2, though .12 should do a good enough job for most. I've also printed both the high poly and low poly versions and they are visually identical. Use the step model if you want the HIGHEST quality, though, again, no difference in visual quality that I can tell. As this was originally designed specifically as a replacement for the DPad in a DataFrog SF2000 portable console, I do intend to create modifications specifically FOR that. The dpad in it is essentially identical to the original SNES DPad. The modification, when uploaded, will be taller than the original DPad. I do also want to convert this file to a design to Mill using CNC.
