Transform tbuser's and TheNewHobbyist's textMate snippets into snipMate, suitable for the vim editor with some added features and cleanups. To use, first install snipMate (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=2540) and place the openscad.snippets file in the designated directory (~/.vim/snippets or ~/.vim/bundle//snippets if using pathogen). Pathogen installation is recommended for snipMate organization. After opening a .scad file with vim, OpenSCAD can automatically recompile upon saving with the 'Design' -> 'Automatic reload and compile' option. For enhanced syntax highlighting of OpenSCAD files, use http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=3556.
