The intake replaces the normal snorkel and will filter the air when a filter is properly installed. The advantage of this is that you can get four filters out of a single N95 surgical mask. You also get full face protection that a normal mask does not offer. The part is designed to be used with the Greatever G2 Full Face Snorkel Mask. www.amazon.com/shop/curious_mentis Instructions: Use a N95 surgical mask and cut it according to the diagram in the images. Then place the filter over the intake and hold it in place while you install the clip. You can also tape the filter in place to potentially get a better seal.
