Snow & Ice Remover

Our product is a multifunctional snow and ice remover for windshields and wiper blades. In spite of many different types of ice scrapers being on the market, we did not find a product designed to remove snow and ice from windshield wiper blades. For people that live in climates where winter brings snow and ice, cleaning the wiper blades is a necessity. Our product design is intended to fill that need. Our product enables the consumer to easily clear snow and ice from the windshield and mirrors either with or without the detachable handle. He can also scrape away any snow or ice clinging to the wiper blades using the specially-designed groove in the top of the product. The tip of the handle is designed to remove snow from the tires and wheel wells. Any driver in a cold winter climate can use this product. This product has an advantage over other similar products by covering all the needs of a consumer clearing snow and/or ice off a motor vehicle. The handle is useful for trucks or larger vehicles where a longer reach is needed. Our prototype was 3-D printed in ABS P400 using a Stratasys Dimension SST 1200ES. A few changes were made to the model after it was prototyped. A new prototype will be created and an updated video uploaded when snow and ice conditions are present for demonstration.
