Snow Wolf Airsoft AUG Receiver Brace

Snow Wolf Airsoft AUG Receiver Brace

This part is designed to reduce wobble between the upper and lower receivers of an Airsoft AUG (Snow Wolf in my case, which is a rebrand of JG. May fit other brands). I noticed a good deal of vertical wobble between the upper and lower receiver. On my lower receiver there is a small plastic "nub" at the front which is designed to engage with a matching hole in the metal upper. Unfortunately the nub was too short and not engaging with the upper correctly. This part is a simple extension to that nub. The drill jig is designed to fit fairly snugly over the original nub and centralise a drill bit (2.5mm if you are using an M3 bolt as I did). Carefully drill into the receiver deep enough to accept the bolt you are using- in my case I used an M3x16. I also used a dab of general purpose glue between the receiver and the nub extension. Once drilled screw the nub extension in and enjoy a much reduced wobble. All parts designed in Fusion 360.
