Snowball Maker

Snowball Maker

I tried printing a bunch of snowball maker ideas and finally decided to just make my own. The issues I had with others were they either would break easily, required too much support to print, required gluing/assembly, were hard to use/line up, or they were not the right size (too small or too big). This snowball maker tries to avoid all those pitfalls. 1) No supports required. 2) Two unique halves to print: No assembly required unless you care to tie them together with ~3 ft of paracord/rope . 3) Easy to use as there's a guide built in to align and scoop additional snow for packing, as well as "teeth" to allow excess snow to fall away by rotating the two halves while compressing. Print Settings No Supports Brim suggested 30-50% infill 3 Walls would increase durability Post Print Add some oil to the interface between the two halves to ensure smooth operation and avoid binding. Clean up the brim if you used it. Tie them together with ~3 feet of paracord if you want to avoid loosing one. This should make a lot of snowballs in short time. Would love feedback on how it works and ways to improve.
