Personally I love this ring, but I did it more as a "will this work" than a practical print. It does work but you need to be on top of it.
It makes a fun gift with the moving "snow". Needs a 16mm pad ring blank and resin to finish.

Pictures show the ring finished with a UV resin bubble and straight off the printer with and without sand.

Print instructions

Everything is printed in PLA at .20mm
Filament changes at layer 2 and layer 16 (in the .gcode)
The key to making this work is getting down 1 solid layer of clear PLA for the top.
At layer 2 switch to green PLA.
If using sand to fill stop the fan at 8 minutes remaining.
Change filament to blue (or any other color) at layer 16 add sand (or other filler) at this time.
Restart the fan after the sand is covered.

Finish with a bubble of UV resin over the top (makes the top even more clear). I also use the resin to attach the print to a ring vase with a 16mm pad.
