Soap Bubble Machine

Soap Bubble Machine

thingiverse

This mobile Soap Bubble Machine is driven by a stepper motor for the rotation of the "round soap bubble rotator", a PC fan for the air flow and runs on a battery. All printed parts are PLA, 15% fill and layer height 0.2 mm. All electronics, except the step up converter, are in the box at the bottom (Box1). The step up converter is in the box (Box2) in the middle between Box1 and the fan. Watch out for short circuits by soap liquid or the packed electronics. Little glue for the slits between motor and printed parts (or a plastic bag for the electronics) should do. Insulating parts of the microcontroller and motor driver could also be done by hot glue. The fan duct blows the air a little upwards. Little wind from behind recommended. The rotator took a few tries to get the proportions right so that the soap would stick properly. The Wemos battery shield is not the best way charging the LiPo because in this circuit all electronics are also powered.
