My first print in place attempt, which seems to have been successful.

The print will need support, I found the support material was quite difficult to remove for some reason , not sure if it my slicer , printer or the nature of the model.

The support material has also left an imprint on the models which the wife says adds character , I beg to differ, I will try to add support to the stl file at some point once I work out how.

For the mean time Im going to sand these models down , coat and paint them.

The lid opens and closes as you would expect , there are slots inside to allow the water to drain from the soap and there are feet underneath to allow the water to drain back into the bath, shower or basin.

Other than the above mentioned issues, the lid opens and closes just fine , like all print in place models , just need to gently force the lid closed, then open and close a few times to loosen it off.

12.5 hrs to print and it took 109g of pla.

30% infill, 0.2mm resolution, support , no adhesion,
