My SOAP FISH and FOSSIL DISH models were designed to fit together. There's zero tolerance built in, but the flexible nature of the vase mode fish print will allow it to clip into the fossil imprint and be removable for cleaning.

Water will leak rather than drain from the tail recesses in the dish.

TO PRINT THE DISH

The gaps in the tail are deliberate to allow drainage from the dish, but you can plug them if you wish by printing A SOAP FISH in solid mode and snapping it into place.

The nicest version of all I think is pictured above, a combination with a SOAP FISH in vase mode to keep your soap dry.

I've used a transparent filament (Prusament Azure Blue PLA) and printed the first three layers (0.2mm layer height ) in white to achieve what I hope is an embedded fossil look.

If you just want to use a contrasting colour - change at 5 layers or so.

I've used ironing on all top surfaces because I think that's nicer for this purpose.

TO PRINT THE FISH

Here's a crazy simple ten minute (or eleven!) print that will stop your soap from getting soggy.

Print in VASE mode, with zero layers set for the bottom. I've used a 0.6mm nozzle and PLA for this one, but a 0.4 will work and give a much more flexible end result (naturally).

The STL is a solid object which will work almost as well if the vase mode version is too skeletal for your taste, but you might need a bit of careful muscle power to snap it into place for the first time.
