Soapdish 03, because Soapdish 02... displeased us. In fairness, Soapdish 03 displeases us as well--it was an experiment we'll throw up (literally) in case it inspires someone. We have high, high hopes for Soapdish 04, which will combine the best features of Soapdish 02 and Soapdish 03. We may then take a quick break from soapdishes... it might be possible to have too many soapdishes after all. This holds, again, small bars of soap, e.g., the convenient travel-sizes, bathroom-sink sized soap (not giant honking shower bars). We made the drainage holes too wide, so you might want to print with supports. The drainage slope is now a sort-of rounded pyramid, and the soap rests on filleted cylinders so the water can drain in all directions. Soapdish 04 will restore the original drainage hole size, keep the pyramid slope and the nubs. Might make the slope a bit more aggressive and increase the overall height, and we'll do two versions: small bar and larger-ish bar. The photo is of the un-post-processed soapdish; it's pretty ragged. Soapdish 04 will be larger and we'll default to a hi-res print 'cuz I think we're about done. And we'll try it on the SLA printer too.
