Soccer Net and Ball

Soccer Net and Ball

My son wanted a table soccer game and I saw "Table Soccer" by "Bsbarbaro". However, the comments pointed out that the model combined the net and the ball, plus the configuration made it pretty wonky to print nicely. I also didn't love a bit of the details. So into Tinkercad I went and started from scratch. I went with the same basic design, however, added some 45 degree bevels on the inside and outside edges of the frame so that it can print with the mesh on the print bed. I also added a beveled ridge all the way around the front of the frame, so it's easy for kids to distinguish the front from the bottom. The net prints beautifully in just under two hours with a basic configuration (no supports of any kind needed). I included a separate ball file, but it's just a right-sized sphere. You could likely find lots of other great balls on here. I printed this ball using a raft and it worked well, but needed some sanding afterwards.
