Sock Assist is a device that allows people with difficulties with bending and general mobility to put on socks with very minimal effort. People suffering from diseases like Arthritis, Spinal injury, pregnancy or people having limited range for movement are targeted for the device. This device aims to increase the range of motion for them in simple activities like putting on socks. The device is not complex. It can be made from plastics. Flexibility and smooth nature of the plastics will allow patients to smoothly put on their socks with comfort and minimal effort. This device helps people feel a bit more independent by being able to take care of simple activities themselves.
