<p>A silicone sock adds about 1.5mm of material around the heater block. This seems to be enough to block or divert a lot of the direct air flow from the stock mk3s+ fan shroud.<br/> In an effort to compensate for this I've modified the mk3s+ fan shroud to sit 1.4 mm further down.</p> <p>So far I've only done some initial tests but I think it looks promising.</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>Same as the original fan shroud: ASA or PC Blend.</p>
