Socket Holder Tray 5.5mm, 6 - 24mm No Skips

SUMMARY I have been using and loving the original “Craftsman Socket Holders” by Randall Berkeley (OmniMaker) designs for my various socket sets in my toolbox for a while. I posted a make to his design if you are curious what all I have done up until now. I recently picked up a very nice and complete 3/8" drive metric socket set (Williams MSB-20HRC 20-Piece) to add to my toolbox, and none of the existing holders could fit them all the way I wanted. So I decided to make my own holder, copying the design style to match all the other holders. I ended up using a dial caliper to reverse engineer a new tray covering all the sockets, 5.5, 6-24mm no skips, using a three row design that can easily fit on midsize printers. I also added a version with the 5.5mm socket removed in case anyone wants to print this but doesn't have/need that size, such as the Tekton 19-Piece (6-24 mm) | SHD91110 set that I was considering alongside the Williams set. I already added a 5% clearance to my set’s measurements, but if you do have a different set, check the spreadsheet with the hole sizes first to make sure yours will fit, and scale up in the slicer as needed. FILES I am including the original Inventor IPT part file, STL files for both tray designs (6-24mm with and without 5.5mm), as well as STP (step) files for both designs. Step files import into 3D modeling software as a single solid body that can be easily edited upon, in case you want to make simple changes but don’t use Inventor.
